Just bought a 14 Silverado 1500 LT Dbl Cap Z71, still has Z71 rims and dealer put brand new wrangler tires on it. I rather look for a machined glossy black finish rims and tires package where it can fit and look nice. The tires I would like to get more of AT look, so please suggest which ones would look good. I dont want to raise the truck, but if I change to wider tires (currently fitted with 265/65R18) and keep rim size the same, do I need to raise the front to avoid any rubbing?

So you just want the look? Then BFG KO2's, if you want performance as well as a better look the Cooper AT3's are a top choice and much more reasonable in price. Also the general grabber AT2's are a top choice for a similar look as the BFG's, equal performance and $100 less per tire.

Hankook ATM's iv'e heard good things. Honestly just search both this form and the internet to find tires, tons of the same questions are asked on forums daily or reviewed on websites, you will get much better info searching there then asking a question here...

Would not recommend the Coopers or the Generals for the simple fact that they tend to chop more readily than the BFGs. We sell a lot of the disco AT3s and they're chopping with perfect alignments and 5k rotations.

A simple leveling kit and wider KO2s would look great on your truck (especially with some white walls)

If you don't want to lift the truck, then stay with a highly positive offset on your new rims (+12mm offset or higher). And, for tire sizes, a 275/65/18 should fit without any trouble. You may also be able to clear a 275/70/18 or 285/65/18, but that may require a leveling kit or trimming/pulling the fender liners back with zip ties.

What would be considered a simple leveling kit? Fronts of 2"?

Thanks for the help.

yes. Most people run either 2" or 2.5". I would say 2".
