Trailer brake and blinker lights not working

I have a 2017 GMC Acadia SLT that has the tow package. My husband and I recently purchased a utility trailer. He hooked it up to his 2011 GMC Sierra and all of the lights work perfectly. When we hook it up to my Acadia, only the orange running lights work and the brake and blinker lights don't work. We also have a camper that we tow and we hooked that up to my Acadia and it works just fine. Any suggestions on what to do to fix this?

Utility trailer connector is bad, replace the end and you will be good to go.

Hi, thanks for the tip! The thing is, it works on my husbands truck, just not my SUV. Could that be from the connector?
