Rear end after 1.75" blocks

So I installed a 3" leveling kit in the front and 1.75" blocks in the rear on my new 2017 Silverado z71. Had the same set up on my 2014 with no issues.

 

The truck currently runs and drives straight with no pull. I've had the lift on for 4 months. Few days ago I noticed the driver side led spring looking normal and the passenger side leaf spring looks compressed. Mind you the truck was sitting on my level concrete driveway.

 

Any idea what's causing the difference on each side??

Mines like this but on opposite sides with a 2.25 inch block

If you have tapered blocks, are they both installed the same way? Another thing to check to see if the ubolts are installed properly in the upper spring plate/cup...?

Torque and the added leverage of the lift block (read: axle wrap) has de-arched the spring...

If that's what occurred, yes...that's why loft springs are preferred to blocks.

I was thinking about adding rear blocks. I've got the 2in level right now. Should I not ?

That's a call you have to make...sometimes blocks are fine, sometimes they cause issues.

 

I am personally a lift block hater, seen way too many issues in my friends' junk because of them...I, myself, would only do springs. Most people cringe at the cost of new springs, which is why blocks and add-a-leafs are so popular.

This is an old post I realize, but I just experienced this the other day.  Can't believe no one has commented on it.  The reason your one side spring looked compressed, was because you were parked on a hill.  Put the truck in neutral, on level ground and I bet both sides will be evenly gapped.
