Hey Fellas,

I saw a member here selling these recovery hooks a couple weeks back, unfortunately it is sold. Is there any changes to these recovery hooks across the 14-17 line? These are from the Redline edition.

Some sites said it wouldn't fit but I figured nothing changed across the board. Thanks!

Those appear to be the Redline Edition hooks. Will bolt right on 14-18.

Yes they will fit, make sure you get the instructions from your dealer, the drivers side is a royal PITA to swap out. The bolt hits the frame, so you have to cut the head off, then install the new bolt backwards to reinstall the hook. Passenger side is pretty easy.

Mine were removed when the previous owner installed a crash bar. I removed the crash bar and want to replace back the recovery hooks. I recall reading about the driver side being a pain without taking bumper off. I don't plan on removing bumper so if I gotta do some slicing and dicing with the bolts, I don't mind.

If the factory ones are already gone, you are good to go. It is a one time deal getting the driver side one out. You will see what I described when you put your new hooks on, just saved yourself an hours worth of work. You do not have to touch/remove bumper at all on the Chevy's, sorry I was not paying attention if you drive a GMC.

Yeah 2015 Silverado, I kinda figured once it was out, it would be an easy install. Just flip the bolts around on the driver side. Just placed my order, thanks!

You are very welcome.

I am planing on buying these for my 2016 Silverado.  Did you have any problems with the install?

Nope but I believe the driver side needed a bit more persuasion than the passenger side. Still an easy install.
