black bear tune on a 17

I just finished my 2017 BBP tune as well.

For others in this thread... BBP can only tune the TCM for the 6 speed for 2017 and 2018.  There is no tuning the TCM for 8 speeds for 2017 and 2018.

Is this still the case or are they able to tune the '18 8 speeds now? Looking to get my 8 speed 6.2 tuned and evaluating what mods to add in addition to the Borla exhaust and AirRaid intake... open to suggestions :)

Sorry I have no idea.  I would assume they can now though. I moved on to a 2019 with the 10 speed.

17 and 18 8 speed transmissions can be tuned with HP tuners, Blackbear cannot tune them since they use EFI Live.  If you want your trans tuned you will have to have your TCM unlocked (costs $200 for the service), and pay $200 for tuning credits.

Thanks! Is there as much optionality/customization available through HP Tuners as BlackBear?

Even more actually, HP tuners will allow you to install a flex fuel sensor  and run e85 through your 6.2, if you want to.
