Radio problems

Hi guys, I have a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 with radio and CD. The first indication of trouble was when the radio would change stations if I touched any button, volume, etc. etc. Now, it goes into scan mode automatically on startup and won't stay on station unless I fiddle with the scan and station buttons. I tried pulling the RDO fuse but that just cleared the clock settings. Does anyone know a "reset" or "clear" procedure? What is involved in changing out the radio if it is defective?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If it was myself I'd take it to a stereo shop and just replace it with a cheap unit , they should have all the correct wiring harnesses to make the factory security system that runs through you old radio work, you could easily get away with spending 150 bucks and the problem is solved, or replace the OEM one and spend 6-8 hundred

You could just grab one from a wrecker. It's just a matter of pulling on the bezel around the radio, and then a couple screws hold it to the dash. Antenna unplugs from the rear as well as a couple connectors.

Super easy to swap....
