2016 Silverado 1500 midnight more aggressive

Recommended Posts

Hey I have a 2016 midnight and I'm wanting to make it look a little more aggressive. I am considering a ready lift levelling kit and some wheel spacers but I'm not sure how big I should go on the spacers I was thinking 2". Some input would be appreciated pics even better.

Do not use wheel spacers.

I personally like lowered but most people here seem to prefer level or lifted. So level it out on a slightly bigger tire. And call it a day

Thanks for your input this is my first truck and I want to make sure it's going to look the way I want before I buy any parts. I have a prelude that I have to roll out of so it feels good to step up into a vehicle. Haha.

+1 on this. I would never put spacers on my truck, but I know some members will disagree with me. I don't have a Midnight Edition truck, but A Tungsten Metallic 2015 (link is in my signature). I added larger tires (33") and black wheels with the 2" level and was happy with this for a more aggressive look.

No it's not the next best. Wheel spacers and best shouldn't be used in the same sentence

If you want a bigger tire you couldnt run spacers anyways. But a spacer can cause premature wear on your hubs and sometimes can be unsafe because it's the weak link in the drivetrain

Go with a 275/70/18 KO2 or Duratrac on the stock black wheels. Add a 1.5-2.5" level. Add exhaust. Call it a day.

Aggressive? Slap a set of longhorns on the front grille.

Haha. Not that aggressive. Anyone with any exhaust system recommendations?

Straight pipes. Never understood the demand for performance exhausts because straight pipes are $30 at a shop and sound the best.

Straight pipes are obnoxious and sound like shit. A muffler cleans up the sound. But that's your call. Everyone likes a different tone

If you pull the resonator and flapper. You'll want to have afm tuned out
