Need TSB and part number

Has there been a TSB for the fuel sending unit on the Silverado and Sierra trucks? I seem to remeber some discussions about these sending units failing but cannot find a TSB for it.

Also, does anyone know the GM part number for the sending units circut card and float? I do not want to replace the whole $400 module with pump and all. Correct me if I am wrong but I thought GM did came up with replacement kits for just the sending unit and float.

On my warranty repair order, it lists part number 25345176 Sensor Kit 3.107

Since it was warranty work, it doesn't show price nor repair time on my repair order.

Thanks for the info...Do you think this kit would work on the 4.8L engine also?

I wouldn't think engine size would matter at all. Tank size, a remote possibility. Year is probably the only major if at all.

I never answered about the TSB...I don't know if it is or not. Mine failed under warranty.

I just had mine sending unit fail and the stealer told me they had to buy the whole unit. On the work order, parts and labor came out to $402, but I am well under my warranty so I paid nothing.
