Hey I'm steven thompson from Alexandria, LA I currently drive a 2x4 2009 chevy 2500 HD extended cab 6.0 gas motor. I am in the process of correcting and rebuilding all the problems GM caused in my 2001 GMC 1500 Z71. I started with a basic truck added a 6" fabtech with 41" irocks on 22's and after 3 eaton diff's from jegs in the rear end the company rep informed me that they would no longer be able to replace my diff even thoe it has a life time warranty lol. So I completely started a new. Cut out every ounce of GM suspension and lower drive train and replaced it with 13" leaf springs from super lift and Dana 60's front and rear off of an 05 F-250. Had my local machine shop build my rear drive shaft, replaces all seals and bearings on the entire truck front to back and had no problems running 38" bloggers for about a year. When I bought new 38 nittos on 20's however I had to rebuilt the tranny not long after, than another, than another. Now as it sets in my shop with a brand new built turbo 400 designed to handle 1200 HP I'm wondering from the experts on here if there are any hidden bugs that might come up in my computer or n e thing like that. I went with a manual transfer case and cut the hole in my floor with a brand new shifter for 4x4 everything installed pretty easy minus the top bolt on the bell housing, filled her full of fluids and test drove she shifts through all 3 gears fine pulls like I dreamt she would burnt about 1/4" off of my brand new 40" Mickey Thompson's lol all I have left is get my front shaft built and find a tv cable and bracket. Any inlightning info on this subject would be greatly appreciated seeing as how it was all done inhouse by myself and I don't blame to be a master mechanic lol but I get by pretty good.
