"Warning - Service Front Camera"

Just wanted to pass this on in case it helps somebody else avoid a fun loving trip to the dealership:

Was driving down a semi rough street (there are no smooth ones in south LA.) the other day and warning came up on the DIC - "Forward Collision Alert Off". WTH is this? I thought. Immediately thereafter;  "Warning - Service Front Camera" come up. I tried to turn it back on and the warning immediately comes up "Warning - Service Front Camera". I also noticed that Lane Departure Warning was off as well. Pressed the button on the center stack and same thing: "Warning - Service Front Camera".  The light on the switch was out as well.

Got home and figured I pull the cover off and take a peek - maybe loose wire.  What I found was two of the four posts that are adhered to the windshield had separated from the wind shield and the camera bracket was sagging to the left. I pushed it up against the wind shield and noticed that the light in the Lane Departure Warning switch lit up. I held it there and tried the button for Forward Collision Warning  and it worked as well - no warnings on the DIC. I cleaned the wind shield and bottom of the two posts -one drop of super glue gel and it is still holding. Both Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning are working fine. I was cut off a couple days after and it warned me like it should. I feel good about it. Just wanted to pass it on in case it helps anybody else. Sorry for no pics but I wasn't thinking about that at the time.

Just want to tell you that this was "right on".  The entire bracket was not coming loose but the plastic base that holds all the equipment was not holding the entire assemble against the windshield, maybe a 1/16 of an inch movement.  I noticed that when I pushed the base against the window that the Control light came back on and the error went away.  BUT, then I noticed that the connector on the back of the camera when wiggled, the light went off (Collision Avoidance) again and cycled, on and off in a 2 or 3 second cycle.  Removed the connector and noticed that it was a super crappy fit, very loose (pin wise).  Put some "DeoxITLiquid" on each of the 4 contact points and pins for the 4 wires going to the camera.  Deoxit is an electrical conductivity enhancer and cleaner, avail on Amazon, pricey but have used it on many application and devices, and the sh&* works.  Will repost if this does not solve the problem.

Just wanted to say thank you for the info. I have a 2015 Sub that has the same symptoms with regards to the "crappy fitment" If I remove and reconnect the plug everything works fine. However in less than a minute the problem would reappear. I will purchase some DeoxIT and hopefully that should resolve the issue.
