HVAC Clicking Noise/Informant screen blank

Looking for someone who may be experiencing or have had the same issue fixed.

When it is cooler outside/heat on in the truck there is a fairly loud clicking noise under the passenger side dashboard seemingly related to the HVAC unit. It seems to be more prevalent during cooler temps/heat operation and when you first take off in the morning. I have had it in the dealer 3 times and they cannot recreate the issue long enough to diagnose the issue. Looking for insight on someone who may have had a similar issue fixed. It is annoying and does it every time I drive the truck and need to use the heat.

Also, I have had the screen going blank and no response with the radio/informant. They did a software update to no avail. Returned for another software update and it hasn't died in the last week but after the latest updated my I phone will not connect to carplay on the first try. You have to remove the cord from the phone and let it connect via blue tooth then re insert the cord and carplay connectivity will work. They are asking GM about compatibility issues with the new update but I am only about 700 miles away from my 36,000 mile mark.

Also, I have a slight clicking noise while turning the steering wheel (sounds like a clock spring issue) that the dealer sort of shrugged off as maybe it isn't loud enough to worry about? Still bothers me so that means it is loud enough to worry about.

Not very enthused about being stuck with expensive HVAC repairs or informant repairs after the warranty expires.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks- Zach

Ok update. I think I pinpointed the cause of the HVAC noises. It appears to be the blend door actuator for the passenger side climate control. if you peel down the cover over the HVAC under the dash lined up with the left side center AC vent there are two gears. These gears will move when you move the temperature setting for the passenger side (or either if they are in sync mode). It appears to be slop in the gears. The noise is very faint when moving it with the temp control. It doesn't exactly explain why it gets locked in a mode of continuous clicking. May be when the target temp is very closed and it keeps regulating back and forth by one tooth.

They are ordering a new blend door actuator in hopes of fixing the noise. I also think the actuator or blend door might get stuck around the neutral position for heat/ac and make clicking noises when it can't move either direction. Not sure, I will have to peal the panel down and look at what it's doing while its stuck in the continuous clicking mode.

Just FYI for anyone who may be experiencing similar noises.
