Going Wireless/Homelinks for Acc lighting ?

Hey all....Longtime GM owner but first time forum member. Just received my 17 Sierra Kodiak Edition last week and have already started to tweak. I had the All Terrain X roll bar installed from the dealership and have put a 32 inch double row LED bush bar across and shortly will follow up with two four LED pods rear facing for when I load the trailers. My question is...and forgive me if it has been answered in another thread-which I could not find...Before I go running the harness' thru the firewall and drilling holes in my perfectly new dash to install two seperate switches for my forward and rearward facing LEDs...can anyone recommend a quality built remote set up to buy that has two channels to turn both these light packages on/off?  Also to possibly take it one step further..instead of using the wireless fobs to activate, can I program my homelinks buttons thru RF instead? I don't have an electronic garage door opener anyway, so to program the two out of three buttons overhead would keep it nice and clean looking inside the cab....any thoughts, feedback, recommendations?

I’ve used the home link buttons with a simple $10 eBay remote. Even had a strobe function.

Problem is the length of signal sent. Homelinks designed for garage doors so it sends a long pulse. It would turn the light on, off, and on again, or sometimes just flash it once. Fine for cargo lights, not so good for driving lights that have to be turned off quickly for incoming traffic.

Why drill holes in your dash, when you can replace the DC sockets with light switches.  Use the power coming to the sockets for the power to the lights.

Thanks for the feedback. I had checked a lot of reviews on the RF transmitter units and people have had issues as someone else in your neighborhood can activate your light bars when they open their garage doors if they hit the same signal. Being that I am away a fair bit, I don't want to come home to a dead battery if my led's have been switch on, so I just ordered a mechanical type with four channels to remotely control four different sets of lights from a fob. Let you know how it all works out after I instal.
