I have random codes,  MAF, O2 banks,  all related to Air Intake.  I have tossed a few sensors at this thing and cleaned the throttle body.  I do however have a very loose fitted adaptor on the throttle body in the Air Intake assembly (discontinued part number 15713009)  that will pop off on a rough ride. (I like to Baja the beaches)  it's an intermittent problem on start up it starts then dies,  it is air related as it tried to stay alive when depressing the gas. However,  I walk away for 15-20 mins come back and the tank starts right up.  Sometimes rough idle sometime smooth at 8 to 9 hundred rpm.  Sometimes sluggish on acceleration sometimes not,  sometimes hard shift from first to second sometimes not.  This is a 1999 k1500 Suburban.  Any suggestions?

Start by removing that adapter/spacer.  Then ask yourself if any RTV is getting into the system.  RTV will contaminate O2 sensors and others.  Check your grounds.

This is my ghost,  I have checked wires connection harness,  wires volt meters read normal load.  I clear the code and it will throw a different one after several trips.  I am most concerned with the random start/stall then the normal start and run with in 15-20 minutes later.  That O2 sensor is an easy issue to resolve if it is a genuine problem.  Ty for the response.
