Leveling Kit 2013 Sierra 1500

I was thinking of leveling my Factory 2013 GMC Sierra 1500, but wanted to get some thoughts on that, from the Forum, my biggest concern, will this change my ride for the worse? and will it cause any type of undue stress on the truck in anyway?

Thanks Everyone

Really just depends on the leveling kit you go with. 2in kits will not put a lot of unwanted stress on the truck. You will get a lot of different answers on this. Everyone has their own opinion. I work am a tech at a GM dealership and I have had a set on my 2012 Silverado since I bought it new. It has 190k miles on it and the only issue I have had is having to replace the upper control arms but I would just say that's normal wear IMO.

I really recommend the lower kits. Not much ride difference at all. Very easy to install. I like the Aluminum kits not the composite. Don't buy a name brand like rough country unless you just want to be able to tell people you have a rough country lift.

This is the Kit I would use (it's the kit I install on all our new truck inventory installs.)

Here is the install video I made. Very easy to do and follow.
