AFM turned off

My AFM is turned off. Does this require a tune? Also, not sure if this is the norm, but are the 6.2s supposed to wrap out at 6000 rpms? Videos I've seen on youtube show others shifting at around 54-5500

The 6.2 redline is 6k. Does the throttle feel super responsive? The stock tune is super laggy, at least on the 8sp

Throttle response feels kind of sluggish. Kind of curious as to why the previous owner would turn off AFM with stock exhaust

Afm sucks and supposedly it can cause lifters to stick after a while.
