1999 gmc sierra 2500 head light problem

i have a 99 gmc sierra 2500 i juist noticed this problem tonight dropping off my wife at work and noticed my driver side low beams are out and my high beams are glowing.

i have a hid kit installed now for about a month or so with no issue but now i have this problem. the fuse for the LFHDL keeps blowing  with new fuses it requires a 15 amp and even tried a 20 and 30 amp and they all keep popping. this is a new issue for me i had to rewire my headlight harness when i purchased the truck 3 years ago from a tire blow out could that have anything to do with it any help would be appreciated.

 

note this is a 1000$ truck so its not perfect by any means but i love this truck and hate to see her this way or be seen this way

you have a bad ground on the left headlight and it is trying to ground through the high beams and that is why  they are on

would you know where this ground is by any chance 

its a 1st gen sierra or round body with a 6.0L
