Bought a 2020 Sierra 1500 in May. 1month later the AC started acting up. GMC said the refrigerant was low and that at production, they did not fill the refrigerant which is weird cuz I put 2k miles on it with the AC working fine. They filled it up and sent me on my way. That was in June.

In late July, the AC started blowing hot air again (dead ass summer) which was BS because I had my daughter in the back seat sweating her ass off and my pregnant wife in the front sweating like crazy too. The dealer then said the refrigerant leaked out again and they went ahead and replaced the whole evaporator core under the dash.

AC was working good, not great until now in September, it went out again.

I should not have this problem on a brand new vehicle. SMH I had faith in GMC

Drink some moonjuice. Could be worse. Look around this forum.

I agree it shouldn't happen but it does.
