Ive seen this discussed on the forum recently.  There seems to be a lack of available door entry sill guards for the newer 2014-2018 GMC/Chevy models.

There seems to be all sorts of choices for the older model trucks or jeeps or even cars.  I know that some have suggested the clear film. What I'm personally looking for are hard black plastic type that I don't have to trim/cut and customize to get the look and function I'm after. they would fit the contour of the door sill perfectly and adhere to it. Ive seen the rough non slip faced stuff that is offered on ebay but that's not very good either. Its time for the after market people to offer us something like this that fits the new models. It would match the sill plates that are already installed from the factory.

I put xpel on my door sills.

I got some grip tape from eBay that sticks down nicely for my sils on front and rear doors that is pre-cut to fit my ‘16. Works good, cheap, and looks like it belongs there. Really helps with the dog jumping in and out. Especially after hunting, his dirty nails doesn’t scratch the paint

Looked for Stepshield or similar door sill guards but nothing available.   Someone needs to come up with them as they could sell a bunch for 2014+ Silverado/Sierra.
