iPhone and MyLink

I posted this also in the Suburban section, but I know theres more traffic here and I think the radios are the same.

 

I'm ready to go to the dealer and hopefully they will put in a new radio, or flash a computer or fix something.  I have paired my iPhone several times, turned it off and on several times and the problem persists.  The phone connects fine, and my contacts are there.  I add my favorites.  The first is my wife, her cell number.  When I go to favorites and try and call her through there, I get no name and no contact picture.  Only her number.  When I end the call the display on the radio says the call has ended, but it shows someone else's contact picture.  When I call another person on my favorites, the display shows his name but no picture.  When I end the call its the same as my wife, it shows another persons picture on the radio display.  Has anyone else had this problem?

Interesting. Has this problem always existed? Or did it suddenly start happening? 

Have you tried a similar comparison of functionality with a different iphone? 

I would start by connecting a different iphone and trying the same thing with the contacts. If it works, then at least that would tell you the problem exists in YOUR phone and not the vehicle.

I've always had problems with the radio.  Different things.  Maybe when my wife gets back I'll see how her phone does.

To revive my old thread. I have taken it to one dealer who said they see the problem but there’s no fix. I’ve called customer support who suggested another dealer. I’ve tried connecting my wife’s iPhone and none of the pictures show up, but everyone’s contact name shows up.

Anyone else with this kind of problem?
