Glovebox removal

I have a 2006 Silverado crew cab with the center console. The glovebox latch broke the other day and now the door won't shut.  So the only way to fix is replace the glovebox/ trim as the glovebox trim is where the box secures too, and the plastic is all cracked around the latch/bar. I'm struggling on how to get the box/trim out as the console is in tbe way. Has anyone ever repleced this, any help is appreciated.

in sure the techs will chime in soon wiff a break down of the dash. if i remember you do have to pull back the center console to access the screws holding that dash piece on. not hard just time consuming. shouldn't need to come out just pulled back. screws in the bottom of center console, under radio/heater controls and under cup holders. 7mm and 10mm maybe a philips mixed in there.
