I recently changed the gears in the rear of  my 1999 chevy 2 door tahoe 4X4  and now I am having abs problems. It feels like the abs is trying to engage when I brake. I did not change the front gears yet but I plan to in the near future. I don't have my front drive shaft installed so not to damage the T-case. I think I'm having these problems because I didn't change the front yet but I'm not sure of what I can do to remedy the problem until I can replace the front gears. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

the front whee are sending a different speed signal than the rear not much you can do until youu match the front you cod pull the fuse and the abs light will be on but the abs wont work

The front two wheels have independant sensors.  They're built right into the hub assembly. There is also a 3rd sensor on the transfer case.  The signal is conflicting because the driveshaft is spinning more or less than it originally did from the factory.  Changing the front gears wont help this.  You need to change the speed sensor on the transfer case to one that came with a truck with whatever gearing you recently installed.

Would getting a programmer rectify that that issue? I put 4:5:6 gears in it. I would much rather program it right now and fix my speedometer and abs than getting new gears up front.

Im not sure if the sensor takes a mechanical reading or electrical.  That might be something to talk to a tuner company about or look into on their website.  From what i've seen they cant change it but I havnt done a lot of research.

the speed sensor is an electric pulse with going to 4.56 gears the driveshaft is spinning faster and producing more pps a good tuner can recalibrate for gears and tire sizes so the tuner may correct your probem
