CAI Box

Does anyone know if I can buy just a CAI enclosure by it self? I don't really care if it is open or closed but I can't find one anywhere.

Stock airbox is technically a CAI. You can buy the Airraid MIT that replaces the stock hose and uses the stock airbox for a pretty decent intake. There's also a DIY somewhere on here about how to get more airflow through the stock box.

I get what you're saying, but maybe I wasn't clear about what I was asking. I have a custom intake tube that I'm working on similar to the Volant or afe brands, but won't have the box / enclosure. I guess I could mod the stock box for it but wanted something that looked better.

Have you tried calling customer support for any of these companies to see if they sell components separately? 

 

Check your local Craigslist for used set ups since you only need the box you could probably make a box that’s similar size out of something eles work.

 

Check with your local scrap/junk yards, pick a part good chance they get some in where the tube is smashed but the box survives.
