Yes, another catch can thrread

Hey all, I have done an intensive search on this subject and have determined that I want one in my brand new 2018 Silverado LTZ Crew cab. I did not get the extended warranty but it does have 5 year, 50,000 on the drive train and don't want to give them an excuse to reject any work that might be needed. Thus, I want to be able to take the catch can off. I want to buy a new engine crankcase vent tube so that I can take the clips off of it and use it for the can, thus saving the stock tube in case I need to bring the truck in for repair. I found a part number for a 2014 Silverado vent tube. My question is this, is it the same tube found on the 2018 compared to the 2014? Much thanks for any help that can be given. I am new here, as you can see from my post count, and will probably have many questions as I am coming from the land of Tacoma.
