You can use your factory switch. I believe the titan window is $600 on its own.

It just occurred to me to to ask: is there a range of years for the Titan that are better to use than others for the rear window swap?

The one I used was from a 2006. Pretty sure they are from 05 to 13. Least that what the nissan website says for the part number. There are a couple windows on ebay atm for 200-300. Then have to find the motor and regulator.

The big thing was sanding down the plastic edges on the inside for the window to sit flat.

I took a switch out of a avalanche and plastic welded it to my factory ceiling console so it looks factory.  When I get my day off on Sunday I'll send pictures and what not.

I ended up going with using the bolts on the factory window. Cut out the inner part of the cab. Cleaned it up and under coated it.

Like I said before I'm just trying to help everyone out and not get rich off of this stuff that anyone can make or have made.

It would be great to see some pictures of your install. Also, thanks for letting others know of your experience with the kit that was previously recommend. Hopefully others will listen and not get burned.

I 1000000% want to see his drip pan improvements. 😁

Thanks for the pics, Dan.

Where exactly does this drain to?

Is there a hole in that part of the floor or something?

I drilled 3 holes, one under each guide where the window rides and one in the center. They all drain to the ground under the cab. Then under coated it all. Trying to work on a legit drain trough with two 3/8th tubes that would run down and out.

Thanks for posting pictures. I can definitely see the difference between the two pans. If you wouldn't mind keep posting pictures as you continue this install.  The larger window is a huge improvement over the factory GMC window.

yea most def not worth 300 bucks if you ask me.

I'm going to order some carbon fiber panels and see if I can make something that's nicer and stronger at work.

My father in law has a sheet of carbon fiber that's about 1/4 inch thick. I thought about that the first time before going aluminum. But with the carpet and what not it will never be seen.

If I make a carbon pan, I'll clear coat it and make sure everyone can see it. 😁
