6.0 stock exhaust system (muffler)

Does anyone know if the section of the exhaust after the cats on the 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 is a resonator?

Just bought a 16 Cc 6.0. Previous owner put an aftermarket muffler on it. Not sure what brand or model and it’s a little too rusted to tell. I’m assuming something cheap based on that. The drone is awful. I don’t need anything terribly loud, I’m more concerned with fixing the drone issue. Any suggestions?

Probably more of an issue with everyone around you thinking you are a AH with loud pipes.   Kinda like straight piped Harley's.  barely affect the rider but everyone else wants to shoot the SOB.

Your best bet for killing drone....go to your local exhaust shop and have them put on a stock 6.0 muffler from their scrap pile.

Or add a cheap glass pack as a resonator.
