Is EFILIVE V2 outdated?

I've been out of the GM tuning picture for a while.  I have a EFILIVE v2 programmer and I am wondering if its still being used or other alternatives like itune or HPtuners have pretty much replaced it?

You can still use the V2. Black Bear Performance still sells it, too.

It is absolutely still being used. We can provide a custom tune for your vehicle using the V2.

It is still out but it would be nice if after what now..... 10 years...... 8 years... they could get Version 8 fully operational and not have you back and forth between V7.5 and V8.
