2014 GMC Sierra power steering question

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra SLE 1500. It has the electric power steering. Recently I noticed a squeaking noise when I turn the steering wheel moderately fast While parking or backing up. Has anyone had this issue and if so what was the fix if any. It sounds like the steering column not the front end. I also feel a slight vibration in the steering wheel when it does this.

I have a slight popping/creaking sound coming from mine. The noise can be intermittent. I first took into the dealership and they changed a strut (I don't even think it was faulty). Immediately upon pulling out of the pick up spot I heard it, looked back and they had just closed the doors. Bring truck back truck is ready to be picked up. Pull out and immediately hear noise.... They have apparently figured out what mine is, but are still ordering parts/tools whatever. So hopefully this will finally remedy the problem.
