Well I'm totally into the big custom builds .

Wish my pockets were deep as yours?

I'm in AWE. Those wheels are going to look bbbbbadass.

What are you getting for tires?

I know you are brother! And I dig that about ya haha As far as tires I’m currently running toyo’s on my 22’s and I’ve ran nitto before too and really like them both. Unfortunately they don’t make a 26 inch tire (well nitto makes a trail grap in a 40 but I like my bumpers the way they are lol)so I’m going with a fury tire in 37x14.5r26 or a 38x15.5r26. I’m trying to talk with them about it. I still have a bunch of powder coating to do first so we’ll see if I can talk them into something.

Got a message about lip depth on the new wheels and I understand because there’s nothing close to them for a size reference the misconception but yes the lips are deeper than 5 inches. One of my clients let me use one of his big faces so we could make the picture look cooler but this gives you a bit of a size reference on the lip depth.

Looks like 8" - 8 1/2" to me.

That's as big of a lip you'll see anywhere. Badass.

And they're forged.??

You know a smart man would have just measured the lip instead of setting a bill down in old custom offset form lol apparently I am not that smart man haha

So The rain stopped momentarily and we’ve had nice weather for the past couple days so I gave the truck a bath and drove her to the shop today to get a little size comparison. You were right my friend they have an 8” lip as were the 22x12’s just over 5”. I like to call this visual comparison You vs The guy she tells you not to worry about ??1052F02C-39E1-4103-9DE7-2B024C54E0F7.thumb.jpeg.ee171fe083de6e543673eba562ed715e.jpegEA2C1FCF-49CF-43A0-9A95-7EF0C2761A39.thumb.jpeg.47fc09d28f18b186afea14808490ab93.jpeg

Took a little vacation up to the snow and came back to the shop and had a couple more parts waiting for me. I almost have everything that I need to make my powder coating trip now. I got my goliath mount for my horn blasters train horn kit, this thing is nice and beefy and makes the install a breeze the entire set up can be put together off the truck and then just mounted with six bolts. Also got my new aluminum LCA’s from Mevotech and tomorrow I’ll push out the bushings and ball joints and sand the texture out of them so we can get them polished and prepped for powder. And last was a nice surprise from the guys at TIS with a little swag package and show lineup for this year. Hope everybody is having a great one!E99871ED-8CA7-4E50-B685-3DEDC18FDD88.thumb.jpeg.b1a0c6b55d4c534c7720665220feff45.jpeg5003E03F-89C0-44C5-9079-62EB1907FB88.thumb.jpeg.2e9dd6c5c41085adfacb83cdc4342beb.jpeg595625EB-324A-4745-AB1B-492DEAD09AE6.thumb.jpeg.d08bdc50beeb70eb44d9cdc735a7f4ce.jpeg

Since I have a lot of parts that need to be polished before transparent powder if figured I should learn how to do it myself. So talked to some guys that do amazing work, they pointed me in the direction of zephyr polishes and picked up a kit and a couple extras. Should be in next week so started prep’n parts for polish so I took the texture out of the new LCA’s
