I'm not sure which truck we were building @ the time, 800 or 900s, but I recall a meeting when they were going thru 'issues' w/ trucks that had been built in 'our' plant. 

 

For 1 thing, even though the Sierras & Silverados were the same, built on the same line, by the same assemblers, the initial quality scores of the GMCs were lower that those of the Chevs. Go figure. Maybe people found out their windshields weren't thicker?
