2015 Sierra Denali Steering Wheel

Has anyone had an issue with the leather on the steering wheel delaminating? I have 37,000 miles on my 2015 Sierra Denali (36,000 miles when I had the last oil change) and GM said it's not their problem and will do nothing to help at all - not even a discount. Now the dealer won't even tell me what it would cost to replace. I found a company that can repair the leather for $200 but still seems odd even with regular cleaning this would happen. Has anyone else had luck getting GM to help?

I do know it’s very sensitive mine didn’t do that but I did scratch the leather off getting out one time with my nail by accident.

Not sure on the cleaning products...I've used leather wipes on it maybe once a month or less? Usually takes away the dirt and grime from hands but never saw it do this?
