Fraid so. It’s likely your condenser, or compressor discharge line, or both. Sorry.

Very common, go check your high pressure line for pressure, if it doesn’t have pressure it’s likely a condenser ! I just replaced mine and cost $100 and $50 for it to be recharged but I installed the condenser myself. Not a hard job, had it done in an hour

Thanks Hunter for the feedback so the Condenser is that small silver tube like cylinder with the cap for recharging?

Condenser is the radiator-like device mounted in front of the actual radiator up front.

I just saw a post on another message board there are 18K condensers on back order for this issue, and GM DOES NOT THINK THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM?...REALLY

That would be the high pressure line for Freon, you can take the cap off and depress the needle inside and if it sprays then it’s likely your compressor, if It doesn’t spray high pressure then it’s most likely a leak in your condenser. My condenser was leaking at the line where it goes into the condenser, you could see it with a flashlight by looking through the grille.

I ordered my condenser at Napa and had it the next day

I took my 2014 back last summer around this time and it was the condenser. Luckily I had bought the extended warranty and it covered the replacement and I was back on the road in about 4 hours or so. Mine had the same symptoms as you are describing and as quick as I pulled into the dealers lot the service guy walked out and pointed right to the problem area within seconds of seeing the truck. You could see the oil residue where the compressor oil was gathering dust near the leak.
