Decal shadow:

I removed factory decal on my 2016 chevy Silverado 1500, Have all adhesive off but when I wash it I can see the shadow where they were at. One guy told me to use a good cleaning wax and it would remove the shadows. I plan on replacing with new decals. My question is after I wax will the decals stick. I plan on using the wet method when applying. Thanks in advance.Johnny01:

That’s not shadow. That’s paint fade.

do not use wax wipe it good with rubbing alcohol and then apply
