I have a black vette & have liked black vehicles for my whole life....but, since you have a big check coming to you & are already very familiar w/ the truck & platform my advice is sit back & think about what options you NEED, you want, & then start searching based on that. Don't compromise on anything mechanical or functional - then tackle color. Or - better yet - build one.

That being said, if I had to do it over again I would've opted for the same truck options-wise but in a much different color like white, silver or blue.

I think these trucks look awesome in white w/ black accents & I also like that white is MUCH MUCH easier to keep clean looking longer.

I've always like the 'Vettes, and black vehicles.  I was contemplating red, white, blue, or black, until I saw the tungstens and graphites, when we went looking about month before we bought this one.  Being a Star Wars fan, I was leaning toward white or red, and then I was going to blackout the grill inserts, make them look like a stormtrooper or Imperial Guard.  But, I love black, and they didn't have any of the other colors with a full console.  This one, I have only found one thing about it that I don't like/care for, the cupholder doesn't move, like my '15 ('14-16) did. 

 

There's a couple of white ones at work, with the black accents.  If the accents were reflective, I might buy some black (reflective) accents.  Saw, somewhere, that someone has a Summit White Z71 and black vinyled the top, from the window accents (and that same line, nose to tail) up.  I may black vinyl wrap the lower portion, to help protect it from the brush, when I roll out in the dirt/weeds. 

 

I'm hoping to K.O. a good portion of my mod plans before I start back to work after our holiday break.

I'm ordering a truck next time around - ideally would like a CC long bed 6.2 4x4 w/ bench seats heated but cloth (if that's ever available w/ the 6.2) & add katzkin on delivery. After you have a 1/2 dozen or so you finally figure out what you really want lol!
