I’m looking at this one (good reviews) as my first dash cam considering it takes up less depth and going from there.

I seriously cannot wait to get rid of all of the chrome on my truck.  This is just SUCH a clean look.

Nice and sinister looking Ravenkeeper.??

Like the new truck and good luck with it.

Sorry about the old one and your injury.  Saw the picture after the accident and it was a mighty walllop.  So does the bonehead have any sort of insurance?

Will uninsured motorist insurance come into play?

Thanks!  I was gearing up to artificially “midnight” my previous truck, that’s why I went with the Midnight Edition.  Not sure about the idiot’s insurance status, CHP hasn’t released his/her name, yet.  They do have a name, just waiting on the accident report to be routed through their chain of command for release.  My lawyers are all over it.

I hope not.  I found that the UMI, that I have, only favors the moron.  My lawyers are all over this too.

UPDATE: As of last week, accident report is still slowly making its way to the public, and to my lawyers.

POSITIVE NOTE: I'm up and walking, back to work for week 4, this week.  Wife, kids, and I are healed up for the most part, physically, I'm still having some issues with my foot and back (from being laid up for so long).  Wife and I are still having some psychological "side effects" from the accident.

Mod'd a new tow hitch brake light (installed, last one was busted up at the impound yard), and did the diode mod for forward-facing white lights on with HIGHs and rear-facing whites on in REVERSE, in the last few weeks.  Mod'ed the brake light at work a couple nights ago, was a very slow night.  Did the diodes over the weekend.  Next weekend, I'm looking at doing LED Reverse/Cargo lights, high-mount brake light RED LED, figure out how/where I'm going to install my CB/Scanner, and if the order gets here in time, driver's assist handle, aft stake hole plugs, aft frame plugs (rear wheel-wells), 2 dual USB outlets on back of center console, and mount/run CB antenna into cab.

UPDATE: As of this afternoon, the accident report has been released to the public, and to my lawyers have a copy.  Driver's insurance said that he is taking 1000% responsibility for it all, whatever that means.

POSITIVE NOTE: I've been back to work for 6+ weeks, now.  I'm still having a little pain in my foot, getting fully returned to work tomorrow.  My wife and I are still having some psychological "side effects" from the accident, she still has some problems falling to sleep, and I haven't had the "nightmare" wake me up in a few weeks now (Hope I didn't just jinx my sleep.).

Hey- glad you weren't very seriously hurt, I'm sure the ordeal was terrifying, but you're all alive & in relatively good shape & that's what matters most. I'm in a unique position to throw my $.02 in here. I totaled my 2014 GMC sierra black on black All Terrain 4x4 CC w/ std. bed & 5.3 about 3-3.5 years ago & I had about 45k on it. Once the ins. company settled & that fat check was burning a whole in my wallet (plus once they declare total loss they pull the plug on paying your rental cost) & I wound up buying, pretty much the exact same truck except w/ the 6.2 (I was hung up on the 6.2) - 2015 black on black All Terrain CC w/ short bed & while I still really like the look (and had a separate black wheel/snow tire combo that matched) - since I have the intention of putting 150k+ on this truck & keeping it for the next 3-4 years I'll essentially be driving the SAME vehicle for 10 years lol

I have a black vette & have liked black vehicles for my whole life....but, since you have a big check coming to you & are already very familiar w/ the truck & platform my advice is sit back & think about what options you NEED, you want, & then start searching based on that. Don't compromise on anything mechanical or functional - then tackle color. Or - better yet - build one.

That being said, if I had to do it over again I would've opted for the same truck options-wise but in a much different color like white, silver or blue.

I think these trucks look awesome in white w/ black accents & I also like that white is MUCH MUCH easier to keep clean looking longer.
