What’s the vest way to access the horns, remove the bumper I assume? I’ve only got one horn currently working and it sounds terribly whimpy, need to fix it!

no need to remove the bumper, gain access through the drivers headlight assembly, either remove the assembly or just slide it to the side as I did. its tight but can be done.

Horn would not work for my silverado 1500.  Troubleshooting to replace the relay and cleaned the contacts and horn still did not work.  Was looking to take it to the dealer to replace the clock spring when I decided to remove the horn pad and the spring wire that connects the horn.  I used my air compressor and forced air into the plug where the spring wire was mounted and blew it out while turning the steering wheel back and forth thinking this would blow out any crud that had accumulated on the horn brush.  The horn works now!  Give it a try before paying a mechanic.
