LKA Warning

So, I just became the proud owner of a CPO 2017 Denali and trying to figure out how to set the LKA warning so the seat vibrates either left or right depending which lane I cross.  My truck does have the safety seat because it vibrates in conjunction with the parking sensors.  As far as the LKA goes I have steering wheel input and the dash indicator changes to orange.  I looked in the owner manual and went through all the settings but can't find anything.  Before buying this truck I test drove another 17 Denali which had the seat vibration with LKA.

Thank for any advise.

I think you’ll find the settings on the main menu of your radio. Can’t remember for sure what all the options are, but that’s where you can set up the safety seat option.

I looked but the only setting I can find is for the park aid sensors.  I know my seat works because it will vibrate as warning for the park aid and the pre-collision system.

The GMC requires quite a learning curve coming from Ram and Ford.

It don’t do left or right that’s for lane departure I believe.

I probably go and stop by the dealer maybe somebody there knows.  It did work in the other 17 Denali I test drove and the owner's manual states it as well, just doesn't mention how to enable it.

Thanks for the replies though.

Our LTZ Suburban does it but not all the time.  I took it into the dealer and they said nothing was wrong. Stinks for what one pays for a vehicle and the features don't work all the time like they are supposed to.

Couldn't agree with you more about the electronic gizmos having a mind of their own.  It especially sucks when you drive the top of the line truck to get all this stuff.

On the other hand, it is better then the F-150 KR I had.  It had adaptive cruise control which slammed on the brakes when I was passing a semi on the Interstate, luckily nobody was behind me, nevertheless, it scared the hell out of me.  When I took it to the dealer they told me that they had to re-align the sensors.
