2019 seatbelt warning shutoff

not getting into a debate...just for those seeking the info. as with previois generations the seat belt connector located on the side on the seats, when unplugged with end the seatbelt chime and warning lights. quite useful for those who are in and out of the truck when trailering and boating.

I think the issue with this method is that it screws with the airbag as well?  Does anyone know for sure?

The airbags may deploy differently depending if the computer reads whether the seatbelts are fastened or not.  The issue maybe if you pull the clip so it reads you are wearing your seatbelt during an accident when you are not.  I know of a specific example when the clip was disconnected and the airbags still deployed in an accident.
