What’s up guys, I’m looking for a supercharger for my 2015 Sierra 5.3, leaning more towards procharger and whipple. Is anyone selling a used one before I pull the trigger on a new one? Thanks

I would go whipple I had a pro charge and it is good but on a Dd the roots are easier. I have seen the lt4 superchargers for sale cheap.

I had the Whipple on the truck and if I can give you one piece of advice I would tell you to just make SURE that the person tuning knows what they are doing.  I went to two different shops that just couldn't tune it properly and it really made the truck terrible to drive.  The third shop that I worked with was finally able to get it working properly and the kit was really nice.

Where did you get your tune done? I have a 2017 Sierra 6.2L with a Magnuson TVS1900, and the stock Magnuson tune is WAY better than the BlackBear tune, so I'm interested in who is good locally (I'm in SoCal too).

Unfortunately the company that did the right tune is no longer in business...

If you're in socal id go to new era performance

This was a company that I heard a lot of positive things about when I was trying to work out the whipple, just was never able to get the truck in there.

Nasty, where are you again? I thought you were up in NorCal.

I'm down by the 101 and 405, so 15 minutes away from New Era.

I've known about New Era, but haven't contacted them yet. Thanks for passing on the name and reputation.

New Era is the way to go. Alex tuned my twin turbo Camaro, I drove up 2.5 hrs to get it done.  His shop gets down on boosted trucks.
