It’s definitely not a quiet exhaust at any time except maybe warm idle.  That said, there is no drone and it does have a nice sound.  I thought it was too loud at first, but it’s grown on me.  It gives the truck some character.  ;)

Really wish GM had a multi mode exhaust like they do on the Vettes, Camaros, etc.  I like the ATAK under hard acceleration, but sometimes would just like quiet normal acceleration and cruising...

Borla's ATAK system is the WORST...for fuel mileage LOL! I find it so hard to keep my foot out of it. Spent a ton of money upgrading my stereo and now I hardly even turn it up so I can hear the 6.2 sing.

I've got the Borla ATAK side exit dual pipes paired with an aFe Power Momentum GT cai and a custom tune from DiabLew. Phenomenal set up, feels like the air just freely works through the entire system...super responsive with a great sound.
