Sierra AT4 Plus Size Tire

Not sure if this has been fully discussed, but wanted to see if anyone can help... Just ordered a 2019 AT4 with the 20" wheels and wondering if any one has put a more aggressive / larger tire on without any mods or rubbing.

OEM is 275 60 20, would love to put something bigger to fill out the wheel well.

 

Any thoughts or ideas?

However the Sierra's wheel wells seem to be wider than the Silverado's.

 

I think you will be able to go with 35's with little or no rubbing as the AT4 stands. Now I may get flak for my comment but those are my thoughts for you.

There is a 2019 denali on this forum with 35s on the stock 22 in wheels and 2in level kit which would be same height as an at4

There is another forum with lots of information on this.  The Sierra cannot fit as big of tires as the Silverado without rubbing due to the wheel well shape. That being said, you can still fit larger tires on it if you don't mind the rubbing.

I saw this AT4 with 35s on the stock wheels and suspension with no rubbing.  As long as you stick with stock wheel offset 35s look to fit stock at4 and trailboss.

Thank you for this post... this is very promising. I think I may just go with the 35's and call it good. I was able to take a look at an ATF with the 20"s at the dealer and it looks to have plenty of room. The only rubbing potential I could see would be the factory mud flap. Those may have to go...

Want to make a post to possibly help out on tire size. I have a 2019 AT4 with factory 18” wheels. I had a 1.5” Moto Fab front level and took off the Duratracs and installed 295/70/18’s. This size tire fits with plenty of clearance,, fills up wheel well openings and looks nice on the ride. Thanks guys for the information in several threads that really helped me out. FWIW, I could run 35’s on the truck easily.

New to the site so please bear with me- I just got the AT4.  Mine came with 18” rims - 275/65/18.  I ordered the performance brake kit but stupid me didn’t realize they only work with 20” (or 22”) rims.  So I am selling my 18s and are getting 20s.  The tires I am looking at are 275/65/20.  Based on everything I have read, these will fit.  With that, I think at 65mph (speedo), I will actually be doing 69mph.  So 2 questions. 1.  Will this wheel/tire package fit without rubbing and 2. How can I adjust the speedo - will the dealer do that?
