Need to adjust for my tires

Taking the advice of some here on the board I am wanting to match my computer to my tire size. I want to do this as cheap as I can, and have found a used Superchips programmer that was on a 97 K1500 5.7 until he sold the truck a month ago. He only wants 100$, which is much less than 350$+. After my ProComps wear down, I'm wanting to go up to 35's, will the Superchips adjust that high? Also, I have found two posts talking about the Superchips programmer, 1 said you can use 87, the other said must use 93, which is it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Chris

Well I just found their site and they change the fuel curves so that 91-93 octane must be used, so I guess I'm not going with them! Could Wester's adjust for tire size? What options do I have? If I must, I could gather some $$ up and buy later this fall. Thanks, Chris

Westers can adjust for your tire size because I asked him about 35's and he told me yes.

There still maybe another solution. I saw in a magazine, I believe it was J.C. Whitney's and I thought it was by Superlift a box with some wires that allowed you to program for larger tire sizes only. I think the price was right around 100 to 150. Maybe less. I don't have the catalog here with me but I could see if I could find it at the house. Maybe check their site or maybe someone here will know what I'm talking about.

thanks, I think that will work perfect for me. The prices I've seen are around 170$. I hate to spend lots of $$ on this truck, I'll only have it a couple more years until I get a 4x4 D/A GMC CC! Chris
