2018 Silverado Redline Z71 Wheel fitment

I have a 2018 Silverado Redline and it came stock with 275/55/20. Im looking into buying new wheels for it, a different set of 20s, and Im trying to figure out what offset to run with stock suspension. 
The truck has not been leveled and I dont intend to do so. Im looking to get a wheel with the same size tires that came on it, but I dont want any rubbing, a 1/2 out past the fender would be fine, anything more I wouldnt like.

20x9”, +27mm is most stock wheels.

 

You say past the fenders is ok, but do you want to push the tires out more, or simply avoid rubbing?

Well, they stick out past the fender now about a 1/2 inch, I do like the way that looks, anything beyond that Im trying to stay away from. Basically Im trying to keep the truck as close to stock as possible, I just need a set of winter wheels as well. So in the grand scheme of things, I dont want to push them out any more than they already are and Id like to avoid rubbing entirely.

Side note, I feel I should clear this up, this is my mothers pickup, shes wants two sets of wheels, one for the winter and one for the summer. She will not let me level it, she doesnt want an aggressive stance, so past the fenders more than stock is a no no. Ridiculous I know, but I have to appease her lol

You can get the same offset on a lot of aftermarket wheels as you have now. Go to a discount tire, tell them you need help with that, many times you can find clearances at 4wheelparts. Your offset is stamped on the wheel you have, you’ll need to take it off cause it’s on the back of your wheel. Just remember, you can find a ton of people selling their stock wheels that’ll fit your truck if you’re interested. If you ever want to lift it you can get a CST suspension lift kit that’ll allow you to still keep your stock wheels and same track width. Good luck

Keep in mind, you could run a 17” or 18” setup in the winter, and the cost would be a lot lower.

I was told I cant fit a 17 on the redline due to the "Performance brakes".

Oh, I did not know you had upgraded brakes. I’m pretty sure those were an additional option on top of the Redline package, but I could be wrong.

There’s a kit you could buy that’ll mimic the red calipers by just applying an aluminum cap onto the existing calipers for $200. Incase someone was interested. Ok, moving on [emoji6]

Came with 6 piston front calipers. They arent caliper covers. 20x9x27 is factory, I checked the wheel. Next question, what is a moderate offset to pop em out past the fenders a little bit?

I've seen 0 (zero) offset wheels on a truck and I think they stick out too far for a stock truck.  I would pick something about midway between the 0 and the stock +27. 

I'm also guessing you have a performance brake package, my redline has std brakes.

I am interested in the performance brakes as well. I have a 18 redline but I don’t think it has any upgraded brakes. Love the redline edition. What colors you guys got?

I asked a while back if 0 offset wheels would cause rubbing on stock suspension, but I don't think anybody responded.  Looking at my truck, it looks like at minimum you would have to tie the fender liner back.
