Allingment issue

Recommended Posts

I have a 2014 Silverado High Country 1500. Recently I had it aligned and my guy couldn’t  reset the sensors because the rear end was to far out of spec. I purchased this truck new and gas never been wrecked. Can anyone give me some info of what could’ve happened. I’ve know and used this alliangment guy for over 25 years and trust his work. Thanks for any help.

What sensor are you talking about that can't be reset and what does the rear end have to to in a front end alignment? I have to be missing something.

I think he's talking about the lasers on the alignment machine. My back axle was not square to the frame by quite a bit. Something we fixed when we did the KINGS' & Deavers. Let's see.

I’m assuming that is the sensors he was talking about. I wasn’t sure, that’s what I get for sssuming. I thought it had something to do with the steer assist. I’ll find out and get back. Thanks for the quick reply’s.

Did you ever install a levelling kit or anything to have your rear axle dropped away from the leaf packs? Even at that he should be able to manipulate the axle and align your truck.

I haven’t done anything to the truck as far as the suspension is concerned.
