Intermittent growl/chatter driver side

Hello I have a growl/chatter almost like the old blower motors in squarrel cages.Its very inconsistant and i can sometimes duplicate it by turning the wheels to the right.It makes this sound at idle faintly however i cannot hear it outside the truck.It is driving me insane.I can also feel it in the firewall near the floorboard.Sometimes it gets very loud.I have headers and they are not leaking.Please someone  help

You can hear it only when turning the wheel?  There is a post somewhere on here talking about the steering wheel shaft rubber boot in the engine bay not making a good seal around the shaft causing noise to enter the cab.
