High Output Alternators

Installed a stereo system with big amplifier. Truck keeps going into battery saver mode while listening to stereo at loud volumes. Already have a big 3 kit. What high output alternator is everybody using. I have a 2015 Silverado LT Z71 Crewcab. Any suggestions?

Thanks! Currently my system is just a kicker zx750 and re sub. Few more electronics will be added. I will add an inverter in the future for instances where I don't have 120v out on the job.

Well that likely was you that recommended the 4800. Small woul world. I've used xs for other vehicles, but the last one failed and they didn't want anything to do with it. I also question why sonicelectronix pretty much stopped selling them and where to buy now.

I buy from emfcaraudio. I use mostly sundown subs and sean of emf has always been good

Thanks for the heads up on that site. Never knew about them. I've been debating on sundown or Fi subs for my next 10in. That re is toast. How do the sundowns hold up? Good SQ subs? Thanks!

Grab the biggest dc alt you can afford (to be safe) atleast the 250 or even 270 and an xs battery

Where can I find a bigger alternator? Everything I can find doesn’t work with my truck. I have a 2016 Silverado Z71 Crewcab w 5.3L
