Mictuning LED light strip.

Wanting to use the mictuning led light strips as running board lights. Has anyone used these and removed the switch, or just bypassed it? I want to trigger these on with the dome light, so the switch is not needed. The kit comes with the switch pre-wired.

Yepp small gauge wire but yes I have use the on my truck and wife’s Malibu through the dome light.  Just cut out the switch will have a positive and neg

@Tleesmith14 did you do anything with the switch lead? Tape over it, heat shrink it?

What did you mount them to and did you just use the 3m tape to secure them?

I used the 3m tape to stick them just under the rockers.  I just simply cut the wires back 2 or 3 inches from the lights and then built my own harness in when I built my harness for the tri mode steps
