What are these marks on my truck?

So on my truck I have some spots like this first picture and the second picture.

 

 

The second & third pic I know is the clear coat peeling off of it. I found some ways online on how to fix it myself so I will be doing that. On the first picture it is just a bad paint correction? If so, do I essentially follow the same steps as fixing the areas where there is clear coat damage or do I need to do more?

Touch up paint on the big scratch, and not very good at the application.

That first pic looks like a different color than touch up paint from what I can see.  Is it soft?  It almost looks like something slung onto the body from tire pickup.  

 

What steps rips do you plan on taking for the peeling clear?

The first picture that looks like a door panel or something shows a scratch White area on the bottom the rest of it looks like it's color  scratch like somebody got a really lousy touch-up job with a brush from one of those little touch-up kits. Not enough descriptions really get a good idea. As someone else said maybe it's something slung up on the side of the truck.  But from that picture just looks like somebody get a really lousy job touching up a pretty good size scratch

I agree. It’s a scratch with a crappy paint pen fix and the clear coat peeling looks like an improper paint job. Most factory paints won’t do that, so I’m guessing the fender had been repainted before, and not by a great painter....

 

The only fix is a repaint for the deep scratch and clearcoat peel.
