I just bought 2019 trail Boss 7k on it .I was hunting in the cold and snow in Utah. I tried to back up on a hill put in reverse tires spun loud pop and grind and loud spinning noise. All 4 wheel drive lights went off had no 4 wheel drive. put in drive, loud pop grinding noise loud spinning noise, and transmission  would no longer engage. Slid down hill over small embankment stuck. transmission  would not engage no 4 wheel drive lights  Error message included service transmission, transmission Service   ESC reduced engine power, brakes, trailer. and others. A hunter offered to pull me out put in neutral. After pulling me a bit, transmission came back. I drove it a bit 4 wheel drive came back. I turned it off and back on all Error messages were gone and truck ran fine. I took to the shop and there are no codes in the history so dealership and Chevy will not look for anything that caused the problem.  They say sorry no codes no help. IS there no history on the computers also can someone tell me what to tell the dealership that could tell Chevy what could have caused the problems. I am scared to death now to take it back into the mountains.

Bought 2019 High Country 6.2L 10 speed on Nov 26. I will start with I traded in my 2017 Denali because it was in the shop 18 times in two years for all kinds of electrical problems plus the dreaded 8 speed tranny issues. GM actually gave me an incentive to buy another one and not go buy a non-GM product. This new one has now been in shop 4 times (currently in) due to repeated engine light, transmission issue, electrical problems. First time light went off before they got it in. There were old codes stored (P057E). They told me they were low voltage errors but since they weren't active they checked a few things and sent me on my way. Second time the light was on, but they said they were old codes and cleared it out. The transmission is making a weird vibration/grinding noise under light acceleration at around 1200 rpm. They couldn't make the problem happen. Also was having an issue with Apple carplay with my phone plugged into console USB by SD card under armrest. Phone would disconnect, then I would get an error that the SD card was removed, then it would go back to being ok. They couldn't make that happen either. Personally the guy just didn't want to deal with it since it got passed to him from another service team so he just wiped it clean and sent me on my way. Third time they diagnosed a shorted brake position sensor, replaced it. Still couldn't make the transmission make the noise I was hearing, however there were two open recalls they took care of and reprogrammed the radio with an update as well which seems to have fixed the phone issue. Light stayed off for two days then came back on along with warning for stabilitrack, ABS, warning to not drive over 62,  and a couple others. Shut off truck and restarted, everything went away except check engine light. I have now spoken with the service manager as well as the regional GM rep. I told them they have one more try to fix it and after that I expect GM to reimburse me so I can go elsewhere, or replace the truck. I don't have the time or patience to deal with another truck like this - especially considering what we pay for these darn things. We will see what happens. So far it has been in the shop 10 out of thirty days and who knows how much longer. Right now I am being told the tech is stumped and he has opened a case with GM to get the engineers involved. I will say kudos to the dealer who has kept me in a loaner the whole time, even tho its a POS equinox or traverse. Stay tuned.

I just purchased a 2019 Silverado 1500 Custom Crew Cab 2 weeks ago. They towed it back to the dealer this morning. I tried to drive it to work yesterday and the parking brake would not release. A tow driver came out yesterday, and he got it to release (while I was at work using another car). then I received two e-mails from On Star. One said a problem was detected with the Stabilitrack Stability Traction System. The second said a problem was detected with the anti-lock brake system, and I needed to get the truck serviced within 7 days. Since I didn't feel safe driving it there, I called GM's Roadside Assistance and had it towed back to the dealer today. According to the tow truck driver, the 2019 Silverado has a new electronic brake system they (GM) haven't used before. He said he's been towing a LOT of cars and trucks lately that have this new electronic brake system. I went to the dealership to get a loaner truck, and I asked them about the new system. The advisor there confirmed that there is a new brake system on the 2019 trucks, and they are having issues with it. (That would have been good to know before I bought it 2 weeks ago!) He told me they have parts and they have software upgrades to fix it, but it's going to be at least two days before he can even get it in the shop. We're a GM family and we've owned lots of brand new GM cars, but this is our first pickup truck. Has anyone else had this same issue? If so, were they able to resolve it successfully? I don't want to be in and out of the dealership every other week getting stuff fixed now. This is really disheartening.

Any updates?

I am having the same problem with my 2019 High Country. I didn't have this problem until I got the update. I have 10000 miles on truck. My truck has been back to the dealer three times. I am being told...they are working on a fix.

I experienced the exact same problem with my 2019 GM Silverado high country 6.2L, 10 speed tonight. 13,000 miles,  I will take it in for service on Monday.  Nothing but problems with this truck since I purchased 11 months ago.   Very frustrating and very disappointing.
