I have a 1977 chevy c-10, it runs great but when in gear the idle rpms jump up a little then go back to normal, anyone know what could be causing this?140a627d748e78501fae86cbbc63d085.jpg

Ah, the memories. Or a carburetor, points, cold day, hot day, humidity or not. Turning the wheel while siting still. The goal was just enough idle speed to keep from stalling. Lots of 2 feet driving those days.

Auto?

To clarify.

Auto trans, sitting in park with it idling.

Shift into drive and rpms jump a little warm or cold motor?

:)
