4wd conversion from electrical shift to floor shift

I had the recent pleasure of rolling my truck, the cab is smashed but that is about it.  It is a 97 silverado with the floor shifter for the 4wd.  I was wondering if anyone knows how problematic it would be for me to do a cab swap with either a 2wd or another 4wd with the push button shift?  I would like to keep my floor shift since I have never had any problems with my front differential or my transfer case, but my main question is what kind of problems am I going to run into with electrical?  Is it as simple as using the wiring from my rolled truck and that ECM and I am good to go?   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ecm bcm radio and your dash cluster from the rolled truck, the floor shifter is easy to reinstall in the other truck

Awesome, thank you! I know the ECM is behind the glove box, I was planning on using my dash so that isnt much of a change of my plan, but the BCM, I cant find anything on that, is that another name for the Powertrain control module (PCM) inside the engine compartment?
